“Yamine” and NOVATEK opened the center for rehabilitation in Noviy Urengoy. The governor promised another one in Salekhard

The center for rehabilitation, help to patients with cerebral palsy and psycho-pedagogical correction of children started its work in Noviy Urengoy. This information was given by the director of the charitable foundation “Yamine” Dmitry Frolov at the sitting of the government of Yamal. The opening of the center is a joint project of NOVATEK and “Yamine”. 51 children received rehabilitation services in January of 2019. Help is provided by specialists of the centers from Chelyabinsk “Children Indigo” and “Sakura”.

Activity of the charitable foundation is in demand by population: every day more than 50 letters come to e-mail, last year 200 parents asked for help for the first time.

2806 children have received help on the sum 337 million rubles since the foundation was opened in 2011. In 2018 the actual financial flow made more than 85 million rubles. Among the benefactors there are gas and oil companies operating in the region, they sent more than 73 million rubles. Also donations from physical persons increased; in 2018 the received amount exceeded 11 million rubles, what is by 1 million rubles more than in 2017.

In 2018 expenditures for help exceeded 60 million rubles, at that, it became possible to help bigger number of people in need due to the invitation of highly qualified specialists of centers for rehabilitation services well-known in Russia to the region. This approach reduces expenditures of the foundation for passenger fare of children and accompanying persons to the place of rehabilitation and back.

The governor of Yamal Dmitry Artyukhov promised to help the foundation in solving the issue with allocation of premises for the center in Salekhard and assured that within the signed agreements help from extracting companies would not decrease. Moreover, the opportunity to increase allocations to “Yamine” is being discussed.
